Traditional Marketing versus Digital Marketing (Part I)

A lot has been talked about the benefits & advantages of Digital Marketing over its counterpart Traditional Marketing. New Year 2018 is at the door step. It’s time we think of further exploring the benefits of Digital Marketing. We need to board the Digital Marketing Express or else will be left behind if we still continue to ride on the bullock cart of Traditional Marketing. Traditional Marketing will gradually move out of our lives, making way for Digital Marketing.

Traditional marketing is the usual modes of marketing that have been used for a long period of time. The Traditional way of marketing includes:
  1. Television.
  2. Newspaper/Magazines.
  3. Radio.
  4. Flyers and billboards.
  5. Mailing.
On the other hand Digital Marketing is comparatively new way of marketing. Digital Marketing or Online Marketing is done with the help of internet, virtually. The Digital way of marketing includes:

1.     Social media channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube,      Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ etc.
2.     Promotion with the help of emails.
3.     Websites
4.     Blogs
5.     Online Videos/Advertisements 



In the race of excelling in interaction, responsive, cost efficiency, spread, speed etc., Traditional Marketing is losing grounds to Digital Marketing.
